Justin Love was the star guard of the @SaintLouisMBB “Miracle in Memphis” team in 2000. As a @TheUNewsSports writer then, he was a joy to watch and interview. A story I wrote about him helped me land my first job out of college. A good player and a better person. This hurts.

I can’t think of a nicer @SaintLouisMBB than Justin Love. He collapsed and died at the school where he coached, Mascoutah, this morning. He was a 42 year old husband and father. Teammates, coaches and media loved this young man. One of the great Billikens of all time.
