Tributes.
The following are some tributes posted on social media to honor the life and the legacy of the deceased.
I’m a little obsessed with Ron Leibman’s performance in The Super Cops. It’s one of those live wire performances that totally transforms a movie. He’s also just great in The Hot Rock and Where’s Poppa? Very sad to hear he just passed away, a brilliant dramatic and comedic actor. pic.twitter.com/4Ba3Eb1b49

Obituary headlines for the brilliant Ron Leibman should read, “Tony Award winning actor and Golden Globe Nominee Ron Leibman has died.”
Not, “Jennifer Aniston’s Dad on Friends has died.”
A brilliant actor deserves more respect than this.

Ron Leibman played Bob Crane’s agent in a film that Scott and I produced called “Autofocus” – the scenes with Rob and Greg Kinnear are masterclasses in great acting. Disturbing, funny, tragic, true. R.I.P. pic.twitter.com/5EXa3l0fjX

I loved Ron Leibman, not only from Norma Rae and Angels in America, but from a perversely funny movie called Where’s Poppa? Here’s Ron with wife #1, Linda Lavin, next to Ron with wife #2, Jessica Walter. Did he have a type or what? pic.twitter.com/H9QU8UnEqJ

Ron Leibman as Roy Cohn in the original B-way production of Angels in America. I feel SO lucky I got to see him do it. Even at the time, I felt:Oh wow, I’m going to be so glad I saw this, this is historic. His performance was one for the ages. RIP Ron Leibman. Wonderful actor. pic.twitter.com/Sa4xL7HWVf
