Ann Wray Death :  Ann Wray Obituary, sophomore from New Jersey

Ann Wray has died, according to a statement posted online on March. 12, 2020.

JUST IN: University of Mount Olive confirms 6 of 7 students involved in early morning crash are on women’s lacrosse team.

Madison Mergl, a freshman from New York, and Ann Wray, a sophomore from New Jersey, died.

Five other students injured identified as Tiffany Lee, of Maryland; Alex Eubanks, of Maryland; Chaney Partrich, of South Carolina; Amber McCarthy, of Havelock, NC; Jett Swetland, of Ohio.

The university says a team of professionals will be on campus to offer counseling.

“It is a sad day for the University of Mount Olive,” said Interim President Dr. Ed Croom. “We are in prayer for everyone involved in this horrific accident. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the families of Ann Wray and Madison Mergl, and we uplift all of the others in our prayers as they continue to receive medical treatment. The University of Mount Olive is a close-knit community and this has hit us all hard.”

Cause of Death.
