I was a Climenko Fellow with Anne. She was an amazing colleague. She was brilliant, friendly, and extremely nice & welcoming. She had an amazing career. This is shocking, tragic news and a major loss for everyone who had the honor to know her, and the legal academy as a whole.

What a tragic loss. Just devastating. I knew Anne as an undergraduate, and I have admired her work from afar since then. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
This is truly devastating. I was in one of the first classes she taught at Georgetown. She taught us 1L contracts and brought us mini chocolate bars almost every class. Stark contrast to your teaching

Such shocking and sad news. I had a copy of my out-of-print book on my (locked down in quarantine) office desk to mail to her. I so enjoyed my conversation with her, and applauded her work.

WHAT?! This is so upsetting. I had never met her f2f, but we were planning a conference panel (or more) around our shared interest in the monetary lives of poor people… I am shocked and stunned too. Take care of yourself and thank you for sharing the terrible news.
What terrible news to get today. Anne’s work was so important to the field and she was a delightful and generous person. Thinking of all of her family and colleagues. She will be missed.
