My friend and colleague

Ash Christian

’s last post on FB was of a beautiful Puerto Vallarta sunset Sunday night where he said “Goodnight Friends. Here’s to a great week ahead.” He was a sweet, wonderful soul who started out acting, then acting, directing and producing his first film when he was just 19.

He made a couple of movies in one or all those roles before finding his calling as a producer. We produced BURN together, and had a handful of other projects on deck, 2 of which we were actively packaging.
He was a prolific producer with a knack for finding indie financing, and I was constantly in awe of how he was always starting a new film before finishing the last one. Our lockdown made him restless, cooped up at home and not on location on a film set, he went to Mexico for a change of scenery where he sounded relaxed, happy, and was living his best life.
Far far too young and so many more adventures to be had. Ash, I hope you make many more movies in heaven. Good night sweet friend .
