Shared with Public My old pal and cousin Scotty Mescal has recently passed away… Scott is to the left and his mother and me to the right.
We often recalled the great moments we had on the road in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Juarez Mexico where we loved to drink a lot on many a great night out in the early 1990s.
We lived together for more than 3 years in El Paso and Austin Texas, and we had many great experiences and adventures together. I am absolutely heartbroken and flooded with tears writing this, I am going to miss our chats… love you buddy… see ya in the next life!.
Bryana Iglesias wrote Shared with Public Oh man. Heavy heart. You were a great human. I am honored to have known you in my life and get a chance to write with and about you. I remember this conversation about your hands.
You had many stories. Branded for what you stand for so strongly that it became what moved you forward. Always passed the bull you treated people with dignity. RIP Scotty Mescal
Very sad to learn of the passing of a good friend and amazing human being, Scotty Mescal. Too young. He was such a huge support to the community as a skater and restaurateur. RIP Scotty!
