Washington State University safety Bryce Beekman passed away in Pullman on Tuesday night, according to Pullman Police.
The redshirt senior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana was 22.

As others have reported, Pullman Police were responding to a “breathing problems” call when they arrived at Bryce Beekman’s apartment & found the #WSU football player dead. There were no signs of foul play, according to Commander Jake Opgenorth.
I’ve been able to confirm through Pullman Police that Bryce Beekman, a redshirt senior on #WSU‘s football team, has died. Pullman Police Commander Jake Opgenorth expects the coroner’s office to release more information soon, including the cause of death. Beekman was 22 years old.

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — 22-year-old Washington State defensive back Bryce Beekman was found dead Tuesday afternoon in his apartment by an officer who responded to a call for help involving “breathing problems,” per Pullman Police Chief Gary Jenkins.

Really saddening news this morning to learn of WSU safety Bryce Beekman’s passing. Was a rising redshirt senior and starter. Good player and I’m sure a good person.
I just got word from the Whitman County Coroner’s Office that the cause of WSU safety Bryce Beekman’s death will take two to three months to determine. This continues to be an ongoing investigation.
