Buford Tune was a great man and a dedicated police officer and dear friend who shall be sorely missed. He did several favors for me for which I shall always be grateful. I first met Buford when I was the first Director of Security tasked with organizing , equipping and training of security force of 60 officers at the new Opry Mills Mall about two months before grand opening. Buford was amazing in all phases and he made my job so much easier. We became
instant friends and that also carried over to the Criminal Justice courses at Remington College where Buford was my favorite guest speaker on several occasions In addition to CJ students we also invited allied health and nursing students. They praised Buford at the highest level and always attended all of his presentations. It was a win win situation which also made Buford justifiably proud. Rest in peace dear friend.
