My heart breaks for the Leavell and Barr families tonight as they grieve the unexpected passing of Carol. I recall meeting her in college as some of my newest friends were among her oldest friends from Scott County. She was always a shining light in any room. Prayers for her family, especially her daughters, as they make their way through this time of unimaginable sadness.
Along with the rest of Central Kentucky, we are deeply saddened and would like to express our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Congressman Barr and his family upon the passing of his wife, Carol. Please join us as we keep their young family in our prayers.
RIP Carol Barr… Now let me address this comment. Where were you to lecture your fellow countrymen who trolled Rep Ilhan Omar, under her own tweet no less, about the death of her father? Demanding justice is NOT disrespectful. And that isn’t even Rep Barr’s account so save it! https://t.co/vk0wvWtIcb
