I’m going to break my No Swear September, but with great cause.
Twenty six years old is too goddamn young to die. Casey Michael was very good at reporting on women’s wrestling, I’d even say he was the best out there. It lost one of it’s brightest spotlights today. RIP Casey.

If you were to ask any group of non-shitty wrestling fans to name a journalist that is almost universally respected, two of the top names listed would absolutely be Larry Csonka and Casey Michael. In conclusion, 2020 fucking sucks.

If you cover or consume wrestling in any way, you had to encounter the work of Larry Csonka and Casey Michael. To lose them both in the same year is seismic. There is a chasm left by their absence.

RIP Casey Michael.
He fought one hell of a fight and fought hard for those people and things he loved. May he find rest after years of that fight.
