Still my mind can’t process this. My eyes hurt from the tears. To know Chance was to love him. He was loved by so so many! He was friends with everyone One of my very 1st friends! Being in Mrs. Armstrong’s kindergarten class together, we became friends from the start! You go all your childhood with people, form a friendship, form a bond, seeing them everyday at school. Chance is unforgettable. Take a look at everyone’s profile pictures, post, comments, etc, he was so loved by many This one hurts so bad Many many prayers to the Byrd family, the Lincoln Community, LHS Class of 2014, and everyone who was blessed to know him!

Over breakfast this morning my boys asked me, “mommy, what’s your worst nightmare?” I said losing someone I love. Only to return home from dropping them off to find out you’re in heaven now Chance Byrd My heart is broken I’ll never get to hug you again. My heart is broken for the family and friends you’ve left behind. You made me so proud. You loved God deeply even back when you were shorter than me which is hard to believe there was even a time that was possible. You brought so much good into this world. Rest In Peace chanc7 you’ll always be my little brother in my heart

growing up in our small town of lincoln i was blessed to have this group of people in my life. i was thankful for the older kids who shared deep insight of the bible, gave advice, and helped us develop into the people we are today. Chance Byrd was one of those “older kids”, he shared his testimony, asked questions in youth, and always had a smile on his face. thankful that i also had the opportunity to be a peer tutor during his first year of teaching. not only did he teach math but life lessons daily, he impacted every student. please pray for the lincoln community and his family, he will definitely be missed.
