Former Washington football coach Jim Lambright has died at age 77, the school announced on Sunday.
Lambright spent nearly four decades associated with the Washington program as a player, assistant coach and head coach.

Just heard about the passing of Jim Lambright. Had been battling dementia for a number of years. Jim was a friend, coach, father, husband, teacher and leader. The epitome of a purple blooded Husky. I’ll miss him. Condolences to his family from all of Husky Nation.
