Sanjida Hoque wroteOh, Collin Dean. I never formally met him or had a conversation with him until leadership class our senior year. If there’s one thing I will always remember about him, it’s that he was always the one laughing and having fun. We had entirely different friend groups, but I’m here to confirm that he could make friendships and conversations with anyone he came across.During homecoming week (when I was worried about our parade vehicle and everything else that comes with that week), he quickly talked me into using this huge black truck that he was SO proud of and excited about. He talked about that truck the whole route, and I learned more about trucks in those 30 minutes than I learned about cars my whole entire life.He asked about my height because he was worried I couldn’t be seen from the bed of the truck and got me a stool anyway He brought all his red ties before the homecoming revue to make sure his tie matched my dress perfectly because me saying “it’s red” wasn’t enough for him. He was just extra in the silliest ways and over the years he has made me laugh numerous times over social media.Although we didn’t share very many memories together, thank you for everything during homecoming week, our senior year, and for just being a joyful person in everyone’s life.Rest in peace, my friend.Collin Dean of Sherman TX Death – Dead : Obituary : Cause of Death Unknown
