Obituary for David W. Nagy, who died needlessly from COVID-19 because selfish idiots decided to endanger his life by exposing him to a lethal virus, and politicians lacked the wisdom or courage to follow scientific advice. pic.twitter.com/EG4hYc93PM

The following are some tributes posted on social media to honor the life and the legacy of the deceased.
This was written about a 79 yr old man by his grief stricken family who want someone to blame. He was elderly+ probably had UMI.Wishing death/illness on complete strangers shows they aren’t thinking clearly. This won’t bring him back. When the fog clears they will regret this.
#COVID19 is an unnecessary death and who knows how many could have been prevented. The reality is this disaster is now starting to touch people whether it’s family, job or housing.
Dear Nagy family. I am so sorry this has happened. You were right to state what you did in obituary. All obituaries should be sent to @realDonaldTrump. Today he said the US was doing a Fantastic job handling the virus. I called him out on it- everyone should. RT 2DTBroken heart
And nothing has changed in almost 5 months, the only thing that could possibly make this slightly better is if EVERY incumbent loses in nov
If I could add anything at all to the absolute truth in dear Mr. Nagy’s obituary–it would be to get to the very centre of the issue– to include :
“.. and were more concerned with their OWN VILE GREED, PERSONAL GAIN, popularity and votes–than lives.

Heartbreaking and yet, so goddam necessary. Why are we all not storming the White House in grief and agony?

Why indeed! No organizers? Who organized the Me Too March? The Million Man March? , people could contact these organizers and plan a March on The Whitehouse.

When my grandma was slowly dying because of COVID.. no one was allowed to hold her hand.. comfort her.. or even talk to her. We just watched her die through a window.

We can only thank our so called President for the most part in the related deaths from the Virus. We as a Country had this thing mostly under control, until Trump made his no balls Gov’s reopen the states, I know.. I live in Ga, the first to reopen, he has destroyed this Country.

When the New York Times Obit section was 43 pages this country didn’t bat an eye. We are seeing the same in Florida, Texas, and Arizona. Freezer trucks are serving as morgues. The moment this virus became political the US lost the war against COVID. Our “leaders” are to blame.

It’s heartbreaking. My great aunt died of covid. And I’m just so grateful she slipped into a coma. I hate to think of anyone knowing they’re dying all alone. It breaks my heart.
To the Nagys. I am so sorry for your heartbreaking loss. You are right with regard to everything you said in David’s obituary. I don’t know you – doubt that we’ll ever meet – yet I stand with you as we are all in this together. I’m sending love and healing from New York. Two heartsTwo hearts

I am glad to see this blaming the gop bc this is what needs to be done. gop are the cause of death and they should be credited with all they do. Everyone should know who is responsible.

I have seen a few of these types of obits. I think people are always curious when someone passes as to the cause. These outspoken obits make it very clear.
That’s quite an obituary! We will see many more of these and I hope they join forces in a gigantic class action against trump and the GOP for deliberate manslaughter! My condolences to the Nagy family. I can only imagine their pain.

I’m sooo sorry for your loss. Folded handsYou will have healing in your hearts as you go through this difficult time. Thank you for sharing the obituary of the selfishness of others that could have prevented your loss. God Bless!
I just sent this to my family as an example of what I want if I die of COVID, except more resentful. Also, donations to @mjhegar or whoever, and everyone adopt a black cat/dog or whatever cat/dog has been in the shelter the longest.
