Death, Obituaries : Amayah Charles , Student of Mercy High School Baltimore Killed in Car Accident.

Friends and families are paying tributes on social media to Beloved Amayah Charles who recently passed away after a fatal car accident.

We learned of the deceased through the following tribute posted on social media.

It is with great sorrow that we share the tragic news that a member of our Notre Dame of Maryland University family has passed away. Nursing student, Amayah Charles ’22 was involved in a fatal automobile collision on Monday morning.

We know you join us in conveying the deepest sorrow and most sincere condolences to Amayah’s family and friends. Her spirit and passion for life were strong and her legacy will remind us every day – that life is precious. The NDMU Community prays for Amayah and for the continued support of her loved ones.

Today’s 12:05 p.m. service in the University’s Marikle Chapel will be named in honor of Amayah. More details on arrangements and campus events will be forthcoming. God bless you Amayah.

Still in disbelief that you are gone so soon Amayah Charles, you have touched so many lives, with your bubbly personality and beautiful smile. RIH you will truly be missed .Please pray for Amayah’s family, her Mercy family, aswell as Notre Dame University family at this difficult time.

Our hearts are broken by the tragic loss of our dear Mercy sister, Amayah Charles ’18, in an accident over the weekend. A wonderful student, a faithful friend and a loving daughter and sister, Amayah was determined to serve others and was enrolled in the nursing program at Notre Dame of Maryland University. We ask for prayers for Amayah’s dear family and for the Mercy and Notre Dame communities. We will share funeral arrangements when they are finalized.

Eternal rest grant unto Amayah, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
