Inna lillahi we inna ilejhi radži’un. “Svi smo Allahovi i Njemu se vraćamo. MAHIRE DA Ti DRAGI ALLAH PODARI LIJEPI DZENET A TVOJOJ FAMILIJI SABUR. RIP Brother Mahir Smajic. Today Bosnian Community in St. Louis lost another great person and a friend too a lot people.
Mahir had a great heart he would help anybody in need no matter what race religion or nationality they belong. I remember every time I needed help in the mosque or in house of goods baitulmal he would came right way no matter what time it was day or night. When the first Bosnian Minaret was build in 2008 MAHIR came with his power washing equipment and cleaned the inside the 107 feet minaret for free. When the first Syrian refugees came to St.Louis five years ago and we didn’t have a truck mahir came with his pick up truck and he would help me carry the furniture too second floor day and night straight from work.
When he was in Atlanta Georgia this April he saw good furniture that a person wanted throw away he thought about refugees and less fortunate families in St.Louis that needed the furniture he put it in the box truck and drove it all the way from Atlanta to St.Louis House of Goods Baitulmal. This how I remember my friend Mahir another greatest soul in our St.Louis Bosnian Community. El Fatiha RIP brother until we meet again. I ask you too remember Mahir and his family in Duas. This news been difficult for a lot people the investigation going on and dzenaza prayer will be announced.
