Patrick’s unexpected death came as a shock to friends and colleagues. Robby Gallaty, pastor of Long Hollow Baptist, in Hendersonville, Tennessee, said that Patrick was scheduled to speak at his church next weekend. According to a report by religionnews.com
Darrin Patrick was my friend.
I learned to preach listening to him
“growing up” in ministry. In one of the darkest moments of my life, he came to Dallas, listened to me, encouraged me, loved me.
Grieving. Can’t wait to see him again in glory. https://t.co/uBOQ1HJ1O8

My friend and fellow pastor Darrin Patrick is now in the presence of Jesus. We are heartbroken. Please pray with us for his precious family. Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. There is a link to a statement in my bio.
Mourning today the loss of my friend and fellow pastor @darrinpatrick. Darrin was such an encourager to me over the years. Sat at my table. Preached at our church. We know grief of Amie and family must seem unbearable. We love you and are praying for you. https://t.co/JvpXArYG6R
