Desmond Guinness Death – Dead – Obituary : Anglo-Irish Author on Georgian Art Dies at 88.

Desmond Guinness has died at the age of 88, the wonderful public treasure of Castletown House is part of his legacy as is The Irish Georgian Society, according to a statement posted online on Aug. 20, 2020.

 

Who is Desmond Guinness

The Hon. Desmond Walter Guinness is an Anglo-Irish author on Georgian art and architecture, a conservationist and the co-founder of the Irish Georgian Society. He is the second son of the author and brewer Bryan Guinness, 2nd Baron Moyne and Diana Mitford.  According to his profile on Wikipedia
