Dr. Conrad Worrill has died, according to a statement posted online on June. 3, 2020.
Conrad Worrill, one of Chicago’s best-known political activists and a champion of the black struggle, has died at 78. He’d been diagnosed with cancer, friends said.

Dr. Conrad Worrill joined the ancestors today. He leaves Bronzeville and the world a great legacy. We celebrate his life by continuing the struggle to liberate and uplift African people. I was honored to know him and work with him on various issues over the years. He will be missed.
