Rest in Peace Dr. Llaila Afrika,

My condolences to his family and Dr Stevenson. He was a true leader in the black holistic community.

Even though we never met, he was the closest thing to a family member with the influence he had on my life.

So funny and very insightful. He left us the knowledge to improve the health of our community. I will continue to pass on his wisdom to others.

Thank you Dr Afrika, you will be truly missed.

We really lost a Divine health teacher. Dr. Llaila O. Afrika amplified what Dr. Sebi was bringing and then thoroughly explained the science behind it. No mystery spookism. If you followed direction those remedies actually worked too. Smh damn.

Dr. Llaila Olela Afrika has truly accomplished much in his “74 Black years”. In his public and in his private life he has stayed true to himself and to those he strove to help and heal. And he has done so with joy in his heart. He has been unapologetic and uncompromising. He has also been relentless in his quests to find answers to help African peoples throughout the diaspora. He loved music; he loved a good challenge; and he loved his people. He lived his life the way he wanted to live it. I was married to him for a time and even after our marriage we remained friends, although we hadn’t seen each other for some time. He was truly a great man, a great activist and author, and a great wholistic healer. “Llaila, if it’s in the Universal plans, we’ll write that book we talked about writing together.” My condolences to his current wife, to his children, and to all of us who have benefited by the energy he gave in his llife. Let remembrance of Dr. Afrika inspire us all to do more and to do better. He still knows that we can. That is why he put so much effort into our upliftment during his lifetime on this planet. May he contitnue to transcend in light, love, and peace, knowing that he did what he came here to do.
