Firebrand and well known global healing evangelist Dr. Morris Cerullo has passed away at the age of 88.

WHO IS MORRIS CERULLO

Dr. Morris Cerullo was an American Pentecostal evangelist born in the state of New Jersey on October 2, 1931. Dr Cerullo was raised in different orphanage homes in New Jersey after his parents died in a fatal car accident.
Born in the state of New Jersey to a Jewish / Italian family, he converted to Christianity while he was living in an orphanage home in Clifton New Jersey at the age of 14.
He started preaching at a very young age, traveling extensively around the world for his ministry and crusades .
At the age of 16, the Lord Jesus appeared to Dr Cerullo in a version and he saw himself ministering to sick people suffering from all kinds of sickness and diseases.
Over the years as his ministry started growing, Dr Cerullo traveled to many countries of the world for his ministry meetings and crusades.
He also hosted a daily TV program called Victory Today , the program has over two million followers on Facebook.
Dr Cerullo was the founder of Morris Cerullo World Evangelism , an organisation he founded in 1961 to spread the gospel of Christ to every part of the world.
Before his death he wrote over 200 books , many of them available on amazon online book store.

WORLD EVANGELISM

For many years Morris Cerullo conducted repeated “Schools of Ministry” in several countries like Mexico, Brazil, The Philippines, Korea, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Indonesia, Netherlands and many others.

 

During these “SOMs” one of the days of the conferences he would preach in an open air crusade, or a large theater/arena, and lead people in a commitment to Jesus Christ and then would pray for healings to happen in the crowd. According to his profile on Wikipedia

Morris Cerullo held Crusades in many nations of the world and ministered with gospel ministers and evangelists like Benny Hinn , Kenneth E Hagin, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Kenneth Copeland , Bishop David Oyedepo, Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche and lots of others not mentioned.

Christians all over the world who has been impacted one way of the other by the Ministry of Dr. Morris Cerullo took to social media to post condolences messages in honor of the life and legacy of the world renown evangelist.

Reacting to the death of Dr Cerullo, Pastor Charles Agyinasare of Ghana wrote

Former Christian Association of Nigeria chairman and founder of TREM, Bishop Mike Okonkwo wrote
