Oh No ! This is more sad news. Pete was stricken with health problems in recent years. He battled against his demons, but sadly he’s left the building. I saw him with his band last year and he tried so hard to hold it together as the vocalist as he could no longer play his bass. With UFO, he always had great stage presence, but he hadn’t played with UFO for some 15 years. Thanks for the great music Pete, RIP x

I’m gutted Pete was such an inspiration for me as a bass player. He had an amazing high energy style and was such an exciting performer.
During the course of a gig Pete would cover every square inch of the stage.
My condolences to his band, friends and family.
Truly the end of an era!
