Just heard that Paul Chapman, guitarist for UFO, has died on his 66th birthday. He was one of the missing pieces in the jigsaw of Bon Scott's death. The FB page of former @ufo_rockband guitarist Paul Chapman is reporting he passed away today on his 66th birthday. More horrible news and what has been an AWFUL year. I loved Paul’s albums with UFO! No Place To Run, Mechanix, Wild Willing & Innocent, Makin Contact are great melodic rock masterpieces! The stuff he did with Waysted & Lone Star also great. It wasn’t an easy task to replace Michael Schenker but I always loved what Paul did in UFO as well. I was lucky enough to have him on my show a couple times over the years. He was also a guitar teacher in FL. RIP Paul. So tragic and way to young. #Tonka

My good friend John Schenk of the #RainbowFoundation Chicago introduced me to Paul Chapman years ago … I have seen him play with his solo band PAUL CHAPMAN PROJECT many times and have had so much fun hanging out over those years with Paul !🎸🎸🎸❤️❤️❤️
