Gurcharan Brar and Glenda Parker, Death, Obituary: Two Killed in a Fatal Car Accident in Mississauga.
The Ontario Police have identified and named two people killed in a fatal car accident in Mississauga 401 Freeway this week.
The names of the deceased are, Gurcharan Brar, 34, and Glenda Parker, 77. Parker died in the hospital following the crash in the eastbound collector lanes near Dixon Road at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Both were from Etobicoke, police said.
According to CBS News Brar was the driver of a Chevrolet Corvette, while Parker was a passenger in a Mazda.
Three more peoples was injured in the crash and was taking to the hospital for medical emergencies according to the report.
Police statements said Brar was following another car too closely, made unsafe turn and collided with a truck, the trucker then lost control and dived into another lane and hit the other driver with Mazda before ending up in a guard rail.
The accident according to Police was a result and consequence of poor decisions people makes while on driving on the high way. Parker the Mazda passenger was an innocent victim who died as a result of someones reckless driving.
It took crews hours to clean up the scene, which was littered with shattered glass, bent metal and the burned out shell of the truck, according Police.
