Yankees’ Hank Steinbrenner was a good soul by the accounts of those who knew him. He was also the last of a type: The NY tabloid baseball owner. Remember the Johan Santana talks?https://t.co/vmgSRPJ9Mb

Stunned to hear of the passing of Hank Steinbrenner. Had the pleasure of meeting him multiple times when I worked for NYY in Tampa. Always took the time to stop and talk for a second when he passed my office. Genuinely nice man. #RIP @Yankees
