Helen Reddy Death – Dead :  Helen Reddy Obituary : Australian Singer Dies at 78.

Helen Reddy, who shot to stardom in the 1970s with her feminist anthem “I Am Woman” and recorded a string of other hits, has died. She was 78, according to a statement posted online on September. 30, 2020.
Her death was confirmed by her children with the following statements
“She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and a truly formidable woman,” they said in a statement. “Our hearts are broken. But we take comfort in the knowledge that her voice will live on forever.” According to a report by NBC News 

Who is Helen Reddy ?

Helen Maxine Reddy (25 October 1941 – 29 September 2020) was an Australian-American singer, actress and activist. Born in Melbourne, Victoria, to a show-business family, Reddy started her career as an entertainer at age four. She sang on radio and television and won a talent contest on the television program, Bandstand,[a] in 1966; her prize was a ticket to New York City and a record audition, which was unsuccessful.
