My deepest condolences to his wife and family and to all who loved him and called him a friend. I don’t know the details of Ian’s passing but he was much too young. RIP

I had the pleasure of meeting Ian when he played with Les McEwan’s BCR. He gave me his autograph and we chatted a bit. He seemed like a lovely person. Saw Rosetta Stone in Toronto. Saw him at City Hall when they got the key to Toronto and also in concert with BCR. He brought much joy to many. Such a loss.

I’m so sorry to hear the sad news about Ian’s passing. My heartfelt sympathy and condolences to his family, friends, and wife Wendy. I had the opportunity to meet them both many years ago in San Francisco. How they met is such a cool story. Such nice people. May you all find strength and peace as you grieve this great loss.
