I had the pleasure of interviewing Jack Kelley a few times over the years. The last time I spoke with him was at a Stanley Cup party for his grandson, Waterville’s Andy Saucier, who won the Cup in 2017 as video coach with the Penguins. Jack was one of the best.
..Jack Kelley is also the father of Hollywood writer and producer David E Kelley (Mystery, Alaska) and Mark Kelley who is Vice President of Amateur Scouting for the @NHLBlackhawks

What a life in hockey for Jack Kelley as a player and coach. Kelly coached Boston University to NCAA titles in 1971 and 1972. Was then named the first coach and GM of the New England Whalers and culminated in President of the @penguins. Bravo, Mr. Kelley. #sticktaps https://t.co/2QsEgGCvoT
