Members of the Department of History and Classical Studies were devastated to learn of the untimely death yesterday of our dear friend and colleague, historian of Québec Jarrett Rudy, from complications following heart surgery. There will be many words of appreciation for his life to come but for now words are difficult, We offer our deepest sympathy to Jarrett’s partner Cynthia Kelly, as well as to other members of his family, his students, colleagues and legions of friends. He was a great man. There is a huge hole in our hearts today.
