Jeanne Robertson 3h · It’s with great sadness that I tell you that my much loved husband Jerry, known to y’all as “Left Brain,” passed late last night. At this point, I’m canceling or postponing my schedule for this week. If you have tickets for my show in Shipshewana, IN you’ve probably heard from the theater. Tim & Sophia Gard will not be here this weekend & will join me on “Jeanne Live From the Back Porch” at a later date. I will not be on “The Morning Show” with Neal Steele Friday morn & I won’t be popping up here this Thursday. (Thanks to all for being so cooperative.) Also, thanks for recognizing our need for privacy as we remember possibly the funniest person in our family and definitely the best sport: Left Brain.

I’m so sorry to hear this. Of course, like most of your audiences I didn’t know Jerry personally, but from listening to your stories I felt like I did. He sounded like a wonderful guy. May he rest in peace.
Oh my! Tears just filled my eyes, Jeanne. How I loved Jerry, the best sport of all-time, and best support of your amazing career and lives together. It was always wonderful to watch him watch you. His essential place in your stories and your sharing of them have brought the world so much joy, what a great legacy, one of many, that he gifted us. Love you and prayers with you for comfort and peace my friend.
My deepest and most sincere sympathies. May the Lord hold you all in the palm of His hand and grant the peace and understanding that only He can. Again, my sympathies and prayers.

Much love and prayers to you at this time. Left brain’s antics have given me lots of giggles!
Deepest, deepest condolences to you, my wonderful laughter lady. Left Brain will be remembered forever. And we all were so lucky that he was such a very good sport!! His grocery store trip has given us laughter beyond measure. And it helped us through surgeries at this house. Take very good care of one another at your house. You are in our hearts.
Prayers from our house to yours. Let’s all make 7 Up cakes and give them to charity of choice
