He was the first friend I made when I moved to East Peoria as a kid, have a lot of fun memories from that time. My thoughts are with his family and friends.Katie Marie Johnson wrote
Shame on anyone making jokes about this. He was someone’s son.. family member… a human being. Regardless of the cause of death it isn’t something to joke about. Prayers to his family and friends in this tragic time.Jolene Whisler wrote
I don’t know him. I have never laid eyes on him, but I am sincerely praying for him. I am praying for his family, who will be forever altered by this loss. Any death, expected or unexpected, is still a void that will never be refilled. To strangers who may judge, please understand that we all will experience a loss in our lives that will be a heavy load on our hearts. Please be kind, for no one is exempt from the pain that death affords us.

If you knew Jon Goetz, you knew that he had an undeniable ability to make people love him. And more importantly, he had an even more undeniable ability to make you feel loved. Those are just facts.
Not many people knew how to work a crowd of people the way that Jon could. Just more facts
As sad as I am that we all had to lose him much too soon, I am very grateful to be able to say he was like a brother to me for many, many years.
This man would do anything in his power for anyone he called friend. And that list is very long. He never met a stranger. Unfortunately this post also reached people outside of that list.
I will miss you more than you know, Mr. Goetz. Love you so much my friend. And may you rest in peace.
