Joshua Lamparter has died, according to a statement posted online on June. 24, 2020.
We learned of the deceased through the following tribute posted on social media.,
Recieved a phone call from a very close friend, unfortunately delivering the worst news I’ve ever recieved.
Joshua Lamparter, a life long friend, team mate, neighbor, coworker, family friend, classmate, good ole pal.
Josh has been my go to man since we were young, no matter the situation we always supplied each other with advice…may not have always been good advice, but non the less, it was advice. Let’s go wayyyy back, T-Ball, youth rec baseball, elementary school field trips, riding bikes to each others houses…..all the way up to high school classes together, parties together, riding 4 wheelers together, being there for each other during first loves, first heart breaks, first fights, student section football games, pregames before the games.
Josh and I were best friends, told each other things that’ll go to the grave with each of us. This young man was an inspiration to me….tough, dedicated, hard working, caring, sentimental and always a good person to be around. He was the life of the party, the thread that kept the friend circle whole. Always looked out for other people, wanted to do what was best for others and never put himself first. As Tracey Lawrence sang, “find out who your friends are.”
That was Josh. First to be there and last to leave. This man had a heart of gold and will forever be my best bud. One thing I always loved him for was the appreciation he had for the bond between me and my pap. Josh could come over any time of the day and make himself right at home. No invite, no need, no reason. He was always welcome.
It’s extremely hard for me to try and sum up my best friends attributes in a single Facebook post. But young joshua left a lasting impression on everybody he met. Everyone knew Josh, I feel like we lost a local legend. I’ve never met anyone that could ever fill his shoes. It still hasent hit that my lifelong friend of 29 years, has passed away. I’ve met plenty of people along the way and there never was anybody like Josh. That boy, got it. He was an amazing son, friend, and was absolutely tickled to be an upcoming father of a son.
Josh meant the world to me and I looked up to him. Strong, handsome, young man. Best mechanic I’ve ever known, devoted son and best brother to Ryan and Zach. I’m gonna miss Josh. Alot. It breaks my heart knowing he will be put to rest so young, with a life full of potential right at his finger tips.
Losing Josh is the hardest news I’ve ever had to bear. I pray for strength for the entire Lamparter family and my heart goes out to anyone affected by his passing.
I love all of you and I’m very happy that I was blessed with Josh’s presence and friendship for 29 very fulfilling and wonderful years.
This photo was taken monday evening 6/22/20, never imagining this would be the last time I spoke or seen him. If only I could predict the future, I would have made sure that night would have never ended.
I love you Josh
