We are sad to report that Julie Ditty, former Vanderbilt All-American and WTA top 90, has passed away.
Her death was confirmed by several sources on social media on September 1. 2021.
Doylisa Barney reacting to the news of her death wrote “Julie Ditty was a warrior and she fought a long & courageous battle with cancer. I am fortunate to have known her. She came to our school last year and gave my students tennis lessons. Such a giving person! Love to her family and all who knew & loved her.”
She died after a long battle with cancer.
