This news has been ridiculously hard to process. Ken was an unbelievable force driven by his passion for student success. He has positively impacted the career trajectories of so many professionals, both in our field and beyond. I can 100% without a doubt say I wouldn’t be where I am today without Kenneth Miles. I know I am not alone in that sentiment.
He would always tell me to take care of myself, to slow down and not let the job be the end all be all. I learned so much from him; lessons that I will carry with me. I was honored to know him, blessed to call him a friend.

Beautifully said Dorothy. He has touched so many and cared deeply about the education of every student athlete. He was the reason LSU graduation rates went up. That deep beautiful voice that commanded respect, but in a loving way. He will be missed!
