Kyle Van De Water Death – Obituary News : Kyle Van De Water.
We are sad to report that an Army veteran and a former U.S. congressional candidate has been found dead in an Upstate New York cemetery. The Poughkeepsie Journal reports Kyle Van De Water, 41, was found by Town of Poughkeepsie Police at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery on Tuesday night on September 8. 2021.
Sources told the Mid-Hudson News that his death is under investigation as a “likely suicide”; the New York Daily News reports police would not say if he left a note. Van De Water was a former Poughkeepsie resident who worked as an attorney in Dutchess County. He ran as a Republican candidate against U.S. Rep. Antonio Delgado, a Democrat, for New York’s 19th Congressional seat last year. The New York Post reports Van De Water announced his second campaign in July, but abruptly dropped out of the race two weeks ago.

I couldn’t have said it better, Christopher. In our many discussions about the campaign, Kyle always brought up his family and how devoted he was to them.James P. McCarthy
Very nice Chris!!! Kyle should have been our Congressman!!!
Terrible tragedy, my condolences and prayers to his family and friends.
So many veterans suffer in silence. I’ve lost a hand full of brothers to this tragic disease, that shows so few symptoms. Mental health is overlooked for us , it can be covered up pretty effectively. I’m always here for anyone that needs an ear.
