Kylie Everett has died, according to a statement posted online on April. 22, 2020.
We learned of the deceased through the following tribute posted on social media.,
Hey Everyone, I’ve got some difficult news to share with you. I’m sure many of you have heard by now, but if you haven’t, Kylie Everett passed away last night. She was an amazing young woman whose love for the Lord had truly grown the last couple of years.
I’m asking you to stop right now and please spend a moment praying for her family and for Hunter Carrier as they wrestle, question, and grieve at this loss.
This morning as I wrestled with how and what to pray, the Lord brought me to Psalm 112:4-8: “Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous…For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever. He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord. His heart is steady; he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.” Death is an adversary, and as we celebrated last week at Easter, it will not get the final word. Jesus has conquered it.
In the meantime he sits and weeps with us in our sorrow and points us to a brighter day.
Pray for this family. Pray for each other. Make today count for something greater than yourself. Hope firmly in Jesus.
I love you guys. If you need to talk, please contact me.
