We learned of the deceased through the following tribute posted on social media.
The BTA family is saddened by the recent passing of former, longtime Beacon teacher, Roberta Tighe. Roberta was a dedicated teacher who loved working with her students and her Sargent Elementary colleagues. She will be greatly missed.
