So many times in life I’ve said “this ain’t my first rodeo.”
But this, really was my first rodeo!!!
Sad news indeed.
Our nation lost 13 U.S. service members this week in the bombing attack at the Kabul airport one of those is a neighbor, Roseville native and Marine Sergeant Nicole (Herrera) Gee.
She was a 2016 Oakmont High School graduate who enlisted in the Marines a year after she graduated. Her husband, Jarrod Gee, is also an Oakmont graduate and also a Marine.

Her final Instagram post of her saving a baby’s life captioned “I love my job.”
