Authorities in Michigan has arrested one man in connection with the shooting incident involving a police officer in Marshall.
WHERE IS MARSHALL
According to Wikipedia, Marshall is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is part of the Battle Creek, Michigan Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 7,088 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Calhoun County.
WHAT HAPPENED ?
Shooting started after Marshal police officers attempted to make contact with a person believed to have mental issues at a home on Hanover street, around 10:50 am Friday July 10, 2020 . According to a report compiled by WWMT News
We are not sure if the police officers first opened fire on the suspect or if it was the suspect that fired shots on the officers first.
However the suspect according to media reports was wounded in the shootout and was taking to a nearby hospital for medical attention. No office was were injured in the shooting.
