matt closson has died, according to a statement posted online on May. 22, 2020.

We learned of the deceased through the following tribute posted on social media., 

To the class of 2000… we should be all together celebrating 20 years since we walked that stage. Unfortunately we are unable to at this time. But we can be together in spirit as we celebrate so much including the life and loss of two of our own classmates in the last few weeks.
