This is a developing story that body has been recovered from Lake Piru, the site where Glee actress Naya Rivera disappeared last week after she went there with her son for boat ride.

When Was Her Body Found ?

On Monday July 13, 2020 the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department announced in a tweeter message that a body has been found at Lake Piru this morning. The recovery is in progress.

Although the Sherri’s office din’t immediately confirm the body to be that of Naya Rivera, TMZ confirmed  it was her.

Ventura County officials said Monday that a body had been found at the lake, and our law enforcement sources have confirmed it is, in fact Naya Rivera.

The Search for Missing Glee Actress

Authority in Ventura California has been searching for the body of Naya Rivera who went missing after visiting the Lake Piru last week for a boat ride.
She had gone to the lake that afternoon and rented a pontoon boat with her 4-year-old son, according to authorities.
Rivera’s son was later seen on the boat, but his mother was nowhere to be found. One life jacket was found on the boat and the boy was wearing another. Investigators found Rivera’s purse and her identification, but no other clues on the boat. CNN reported.

Naya Marie Rivera is an American actress, model, and singer. She began her career as a child actress and model, appearing in national television commercials before joining the Glee.
