Passing of a Board Member NYPD Inspector and Army Command Sergeant Major Justin Lenz
It is with deep regret that I have to write this today. With over 35 years in the United States Army and achieving the highest enlisted rank and almost 30 years in the New York City Police Department, Inspector Lenz was the Epitome of what people aspire to be. Inspector Lenz was also a pillar to this organization that we relied on by his knowledge and experience to help us come to the right decisions. He was a sounding board for myself as well as others and I enjoyed all the conversations we had. You will sorely be missed. Because of your sacrifices people have a voice to be heard and rights are more then just words on paper. Rest In Peace Justin,Inspector or Command Sergeant Major, We have the watch.

The world lost an amazing human being today. Justin Lenz, you made this world a better place. I loved hearing stories from Craig about your time together in Iraq and I always loved chatting with you about your marathons and your beautiful family. You were an officer, a gentleman, and great friend to all. You would do anything for anybody in need and even came to our rescue a couple times. Today hurt bad 😢 you will be terribly missed.
This is what a hero looks like. God rest your soul
