Paul Sittenfeld Death -Dead – Obituary – Cause of Death : Paul Sittenfeld has Died.
Lloyd Library and Museum 1h · We mourn the loss and celebrate the life and legacy of Lloyd Library Chairman of the Board, Paul Sittenfeld. Joining the Board in 2016, Paul helped to set a new direction for our organization through his vision and leadership. His enthusiasm and willingness to serve as an ambassador for the Lloyd was unbounded. Immediately recognizing the need for a strategic plan that emphasized community engagement and impact, Paul helped to reorganize our operations, providing unwavering support and mentorship to the new Board and our staff. Paul did not hold back his compliments, nor his suggestions on how to improve and make the Lloyd a better organization. Whether it was commenting on a budget detail or a social media post, Paul would always thoughtfully engage, usually with his characteristic humor. Through his efforts, the Lloyd’s visibility was heightened as we moved away from being Cincinnati’s “best kept secret.” Board President, Heather Estridge noted “I cannot overstate the importance of Paul’s role in setting the Lloyd on a renewed path to both scholarly and community engagement. Paul believed fiercely that the Lloyd could serve both the international scientific community and our local Cincinnati neighbors, and he dedicated his time and talents to providing that direction.” We will miss Paul’s leadership and his warm and colorful personality as we enter our next chapter, recognizing and appreciating his role in strongly positioning us for the future.
