Peloton treadmill child death Death -Dead – Obituary -An accident involving a Peloton treadmill plus has led to the death of a child.
An accident involving a Peloton treadmill has led to the death of a child, officials at the company announced Thursday. Details of the accident — including the age of the child and location — were not immediately released. Peloton CEO and co-founder John Foley announced the tragedy on the Peloton website. “I’m reaching out to you today because I recently learned about a tragic accident involving a child and the Tread+, resulting in, unthinkably, a death,” Foley wrote.
I own the Peloton treadmill. My 4 year old son knows in all circumstances he is not to play with it. He’s annoyed I insist on repeating myself constantly. Good, it’s my job.
Treadmills aren’t for children. If a child gets hurt on the equipment, it is due to improper parental/caregiver supervision/discipline
I see a lawsuit coming when technically it was the parents fault. I see money hungry lawyers waiting to come up with some BS.
There’s a safety on it, high up, to prevent it from just turning on. But if a kid did figure out how to start it, it’s very easy for the tread to move causing someone unprepared to lose balance, fall, and hit their head. Unfortunate accident. It’s a machine, not a toy.
Shame this had to happened. No details given in this article. I don’t own a peloton but I am not going to blame the company because children should never be near these sorts of machines.
May he RIP🙏🏻 unfortunately the parents will blame the company and will sue.. instead of taking full responsibility an how to store or secure the treadmill.
Breaking News. A person died while watching Netflix, CEO announces. No other details available.
Here comes the blame game. Tell us, fine people of the comment section, scream into the void who you think should be punished for this.
Why bother reporting a story with absolutely no details? No age, no location, no reason for accident, nothing about what actually happened.
sational journalism; but you are starting to sound like CNN.
