Family and friends are mourning the death of Canadian artist Qing Han, aka Qinni, who has passed away after a battle with cancer.
In December 2019, Qinni informed her followers in a post on social media that she’d been diagnosed with stage IV cancer. Her doctors were expecting her to live for a modest amount of time — a year, to a year and a half — but her time was cut much shorter. As reported by Source
We learned of the deceased through the following tribute posted on social media.
@QinniArt Qing ‘Qinni’ Han always to be loved by everyone who survives and out-lived her, however God loves her more so that she doesn’t have to continue lives with suffering both physically and mentally. R.I.P – Qing Han https://t.co/I4omDGBmPh

Qing Han, I’ve been following your art since I was in middle school. I had the opportunity to participate in the project for you, #starsforqinni, and you was so so kind to everyone who participated. I’ll never forget the first time I saw your art. Rest well @QinniArt.
