Seth Fischer has died, according to a statement posted online on June. 29, 2020.
We learned of the deceased through the following tribute posted on social media.,
Gale Vogt Racing is absolutely devastated to learn about the loss of fellow competitor Seth Fischer. We pray for his family, especially his wife Shannon and their kids as well his Grandpa Lynn who has done so much to support the Wagner track through the years.
Seth and I have raced many years against each other. He always raced me hard but clean. We raced many laps side by side without touching.
I can’t think of a time where we had contact that resulted in much more than a small tire mark. This photo is from a couple weeks ago when Seth beat me on the start and we were battling for 2nd for many laps. We never touched, and I was fortunate to work my way up and get the win that night.
My only regret is that I wish I would have given Seth a shout out during my interview to let everyone know how much fun it was racing him that night. We will miss racing against the 34.
