We learned of the deceased through the following tribute posted on social.
Sadly I have just been informed by the family that glider pilot veteran SSgt Ralph Norbury passed away late afternoon today, at the age of 100.
Ralph was, as far I know, the last known veteran of all 4 major airborne operations. Sicily, DDay, Arnhem, Varsity.
