Condolences to the family. Had the pleasure of watching French Connection at the Aud, center ice, right behind visiting players bench. No one in the NHL like them at the time.
Lived down the block from him and Korab when I was younger. Condolences to his family.
What a great man, great player. It was a highlight in my life being able to watch Rene, Rico, and Gilbert. Rene coached local youth hockey also. You will be missed. RIP Rene!
