Tributes
@ItsKrissy hurts extra worse. I was at OU for same seasons as Ricky Dixon. Saw over half his games in person. Our best DB on those legendary mid-80’s OU defenses. I’m from Dallas like him. I’m at gym trying not to cry. I knew he had ALS but wasn’t prepared for this. RIP Ricky

Ricky Dixon: Fellow Sooner teammate, College Football Hall of Famer and friend. Pound for pound, few players packed a bigger punch! Instincts, Speed and excellent ball skills! His smile was electric and easy. RIP! pic.twitter.com/Yg7X7O3end

@LincolnRiley @CoachGrinch. With the sad news of Ricky Dixon passing today, one of the best defensive players to ever play for the University of Oklahoma I would like to ask you guys to honor his name to retire his number or create an award for outstanding defensive play. TY
