Rest In Peace Ron Guardipee

You gave me confidence when I had none and was at one of the lowest spots of my life through our conversations. You were one of the few who fought for my band when no one else would. You were hands down the realest person I’ve met while living in the Pacific Northwest still to this day. I’m beyond thankful to say that in the 4 years of knowing you, you impacted my life.

Do yourself a favor go listen to Brotherhood today

Today is gonna be a tough day. My friend Ron Guardipee , whom I’ve known for 31 years, passed away today.

Ron went in for a physical check up in late February, in early March they started Chemo.

For people unfamiliar with Ron, he was the frontman for Seattle’s own BROTHERHOOD and a pillar in Seattle’s hardcore/metal scene. He toured with SEAWEED and stayed in Rapid City back in the early 90’s.

Ron kept in contact as I was going through my heart surgery and he kept giving me positive encouragement. Once He started chemo, our contact dwindled as I think he realized that his time was shorter than anyone could have expected.

Ron made an impact on thousands of people all over the world.

He will be greatly missed.
